WHAT DOES “TRAVEL PLANNING RESEARCH” MEAN?

Travel Planning Research is an opportunity for you to ask us a travel-related question and we will research the answer for you. Together we will communicate (either via email or over the phone) about the details of what you are looking for, your deadline and the expected amount of time it will take Global Game Plan to prepare the information for you.  Think of it as a work or school research project that you can pay someone else to do for you! =)  

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF THIS SERVICE?

Example 1: One of our previous customers asked us to plan a route for their move from Missouri to New Jersey.  They gave us the basics such as the starting/ending point, the amount of time they wanted to drive per day, the need for a pet-friendly lodging and their preferred hotel chain. We provided them with a driving route, details about overnight stopping points that included a pet-friendly hotel and links to activities in each of those cities.

Example 2:  You’re not sure where you want to take your family on vacation for spring break. If you already have several destinations in mind, you can let us know and we can create a pro/con list for you about each one to help you decide. If you’re starting from scratch, give us some of your qualifications (city vs. beach; domestic or international; road trip vs. airplane flight; an activity you’ve always wanted to try etc.), we will research options and send you a “report” with destinations that fit the information you’ve provided and why they would be a great choice.

WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR SERVICE?

The internet is a wonderful tool for travel planning, yet it can also be overwhelming. There are many ways to find great resources (check out our Pinterest boards) for planning a trip on your own. However, sorting through all of that information is a process that takes time and effort. We’ve planned lots of trips (and we love it) so you can hire Global Game Plan to do the heavy lifting while you relax and get excited for your awesome vacation.

how much does it cost?

Travel planning research is charged at $50/hour. Before you book anything, please email Jenny or schedule a free 10 minute consultation to discuss your specific needs. You will receive an estimated amount of time that your project will take and then you will pay (in advance) for the number of hour that were agreed upon amount. Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions.
 

what if i have lots of qualifications or specific details about my trip that i want you to include in your research?

Sounds great, sometimes it’s actually easier for us to research when you are more specific (but don’t worry, we will work with whatever information you give us). Please make sure to give us all this information up front so we can use it from the beginning of our research.
